Dear fellow Rotarians,
Thank you all for entrusting me with the significant responsibility of serving as the President of the Rotary Club of Kuching Unity City for Rotary Year 2025-26.
First and foremost, a huge thank you to our outgoing President, Careen Chua. Your outstanding leadership and unwavering dedication over the past year is truly commendable.
To our past Board of Directors, thank you for your hard work and commitment. Your efforts have been instrumental in shaping our club's achievements, and I am grateful for your service.
To our current Board of Directors, thank you for taking up the roles and being the leaders who serve and drive our club forward. And to every Rotarian in our club, your commitment and enthusiasm are the foundation of our success.
Our theme this year is "Unite for Good". As RI President Francesco Arezzo remarked – this is how we build a strong club – through meaningful partnerships, humility, humanity, and heart. It starts with how we listen, how we support, and how we serve.
In line with this theme, our local emphasis this year is on education, empowerment, and exploration. In line with DG Shahul Hameed’s vision for our District this year, we will focus on educating and empowering ourselves and others for service, through various talks and activities. In addition, we will explore how we can review and strengthen our current projects and collaborations, while exploring the opportunity for new and future collaborations this year.
I would like to encourage every member to get involved, and to take ownership of your personal growth this year. Lend me your support and together let us Unite for Good!
