DONATE HOUSEHOLD ITEMS TO SARAWAK SOCIETY FOR THE DEAF (SSD) FOR THEIR MALE AND FEMALE HOSTEL

The Rotary Club of Kuching Unity City (RCKUC) is proud to contribute household items needed by the Sarawak Society for the Deaf (SSD) for their male and female hostel.

SSD, an NGO whose funding is derived from the contribution by the public and government, has 10 deaf male and female staying in their hostel for training and other jobs. The society is appealing for contribution of items needed for their hostel so that the occupants are able to stay there comfortably. 

In response to SSD’s request, RCKUC has responded by contributing electric auto ceiling fan and induction cooker.

In a simple handover ceremony this afternoon, the items were handed over to SSD, received by its Administrative Officer, Ms Amy Lau and Communication support officer, Ms Lorraine Mitchelle. RCKUC is represented by project OC, Pei Wee Shiung, witnessed by RCKUC’s President, Mok Yong Yaw, Secretary Ngo Sie Haw, Treasurer Esther Hu and Public Image Chair Careen Chua.
