Joint Project with Rotary Club of Kuching Central, under the theme of Kuching Unites against COVID-19 by District 3310, donated 30 sets of HFSS to SMK Datuk Patinggi Haji Abdul Gapor and SJK Bintawa on 5th June 2020.
SMK Datuk Patinggi Haji Abdul Gapor and SJK Bintawa are the first two beneficiaries as schools are identified as highly potential crowded area upon gradual lifting of CMCO. These stands will be complimenting the new SOP from MOE prior school reopening where ONE stand is expected to be allocated at entrance of each classroom.
By reducing the possibility of cross infections through first direct contact to sanitizer and with further awareness of washing or sanitizing your hands correctly will be important before our community start to relax post CMCO. Constant awareness and reminders are necessary, so our community do not overlook the ongoing threats.
Led by Project Organizing Chair, Rtn Gary Tay with the support from six other Rotarians from both clubs, with total contributed service hours of 30 hours will benefit at least 675 individuals. Recurrence use of the stands and reminders of correct way of sanitizing hands will thus impacting and play a part in fighting disease.
Above project is intended to be on a continual basis as we look to address the community constraint in a more holistic way. We welcome organization or individual who wish to be part of the team to donate, and support other schools, please do not hesitate to contact us.
