Dear fellow Rotarians and friends,

Firstly. I would like to thank all members of Rotary Club of Kuching Unity City, entrusted me with the responsibility of Club President. I also wish to thank our District 3310 Governor, Joanne Kam and Assistant Governor, Luis Ng, for their guidance and support.

The theme of current Rotary year is Imagine Rotary. All Rotarians are being challenged to imagine the new ways of carrying out the service projects, to serve our community. As Rotarians, we constantly identify and access the issues or needs in our community and put together all available resources to resolve them. We are the people of action, in many imaginary ways.

We will continue our existing service projects, such as Empowering girls (supporting aid to Kampung Haji Baki), Healthcare (hearing and eyesight), Literacy (building community library), and Environment (refurbished use PCs), just to name a few. We also plan to initiate mental health service projects as well as initiating a new Interact Club.

Globally, we continue to support effort to End Polio.

Therefore, I urge all members to work together with our Board of Directors, to ensure all planned activities could be carried out promptly. Meanwhile, we need more volunteers to join force with us. Friends, if you share the same passion with us, join us to bless our community and to have great fellowship.
