Dear Rotarians and friends,

A new Rotary Year is upon us, and let us say one final thank you to Charter President Lee Khee Chuan and his board of directors for their contribution and outstanding leadership. We know and appreciate that you and the directors will continue to lead the Rotary Club of Kuching Unity City in important ways for years to come.

Welcome, Rotarians and my Board of Directors for Rotary Year 2019-20!

This is a special year filled with positive challenges for a young Club that is two years old, and excitement for the Club to embark on the theme Rotary Connects the World.

Rotary is built on connection. Therefore, we will focus mostly on building a strong and inspiring team to lead the Club to success by organising more fellowship among Rotarians, inviting their family members, friends, colleagues and experts to join and actively participate in our regular meetings and activities. We welcome everyone to engage, plan and adapt to today’s changing realities for the service projects that will have the most impact to the current needs of our local community.

The friendship and bond between the Rotarians of the young club will be strengthened with the execution of various projects. By working together, we will achieve great things as we continue to serve local and global communities through Rotary Connects the World.

This is aligned with Rotary’s Vision: Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create a lasting change - across the globe, in our communities and in ourselves.
